3.19 Written Examinations
- (1)
- In written examinations, the candidate should demonstrate his/her
ability to tackle a scientific problem using available methods in the field
and to find ways of solving the problem in limited time and with limited
auxiliary means.
- (2)
- The written examination has a minimum of 90 minutes duration and a
maximum of 180 minutes duration.
- (3)
- During the written examination a protocol is to be
taken. The protocol contains the names of the examiners and
observers, an attendance list and the task assignment.
- (4)
- Written examinations are normally assessed by two examiners.
